6 hours of singing, dancing, rhythmic fun! All classes are with live music, from traditional Mozambican instruments.The Smile Trio, three dance teachers from Hodi Maputo Afro Swing and is composed of one dancer (Eugêncio Macuvel) and two musicians (Elias and Augusto Manhiça). Hodi Maputo Afro Swing is a non-profit cultural association founded in 2014. The mission of Hodi is to work for the preservation, research and dissemination of Mozambican traditional dance, music and traditional instruments as well as African American Swing Dances. That's Rhythm is excited to support their 2024 European tour with appreciation to Some Like It Hot Ballroom for the venue space.
