$5/10 Ross Donlon and CJ Bowerbird featured poetry readers plus open mic.Ross Donlon has read extensively in Australia & Europe, but Canberra and Smiths is a favourite. His most recent work is a sequence of 50 ghazals which will feature in his reading. He has won some prizes but is especially glad to be in a number of anthologies, both here & the UK. most recently in 'The Book of Birds' (Canberra) & 'Festival in a Book' (U.K.) .
CJ Bowerbird is a spoken word artist and the 2012 Australian Poetry Slam Champion. In 2018, he released Beyond This Blue, a recording of the show he created with the Downfall Choir for the 2017 National Folk Festival. He is currently writing a verse play with the support of the The Street Theatre.
