Anita Patel is a Canberra writer who was born in Singapore. Her two collections of poetry are: Petals Fall (Recent Work Press, 2022) and A Common Garment (Recent Work Press, 2019).
Her work appears in publications such as: Cordite Poetry Review, Mascara Literary Review, Plumwood Mountain Journal, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal and Australian Book Review. Her poems are included in the anthologies: What We Carry (Recent Work Press), Australian Poetry Anthology Vol. 8 2020, This Gift, This Poem (Puncher and Wattman) and The Book of Birds (Recent Work Press). She has collaborated with artist, Annie Franklin to produce three books: Heart Stitched (2019), Grief and Beauty (2022) and Familiar Fragments (2025).
Ray Liversidge’s latest book is ‘Riverside: New & Selected Work 2003-2025’ published by Interactive Publications. His other books are: ‘…of a sudden’; ‘Oradour-sur-Glane’; ‘no suspicious circumstances: portraits of poets (dead)’; ‘The Barrier Range’; ‘The Divorce Papers’; and ‘Obeying the Call’. He also appeared with two other poets in the first issue of ‘Triptych Poets’. His verse novel ‘The Barrier Range’ was adapted for stage and performed as ‘Seeking Fabled Waters’ at the 2010 Melbourne Writers Festival. In that year he also won the Bruce Dawe National Poetry Prize and was recommended in the Rosemary Dobson Prize. His poetry has appeared in over 100 journals and anthologies here and in the US, Canada, the UK, Scotland, Ireland and Spain. See www.poetray.wordpress.com
