About this Event
At Berkeley Homes, we are keen to continue supporting the local community and ensure that the next generation has the opportunity to benefit from our investment in the area.
Over the last 3 years we have been working with the community on the proposed redevelopment of the Aylesham Centre, Peckham and have engaged a number of youth charities and groups from walk n talk sessions with our design team to hosting careers fairs and work experience for local young people.
We are now excited to host ‘What’s your Story’ in partnership with the inspirational Peckham born writer and philanthropist Kenny Imafidon MBE, author of ‘That Peckham Boy’.
There will be:
- Interactive engagement for all to enjoy
- Fireside chat followed by Q&A session with Kenny Imafidon and a number of mentors working within the community
- A reading from ‘That Peckham Boy’
- Free book signing and giveaway
- Tasty refreshments throughout the evening
- Networking opportunities
