He gained much of his fame as a solo artist with that song and was received very well in many countries all over the world.
The Musical Director for That Motown Band is Johnny Gale. Johnny is a Grammy nominated producer, composer, arranger, vocalist and guitarist extraordinaire. Johnny Gale was a recent recipient of the East Coast Music Hall of Fame Legend Musician Award.
The Modern Gentlemen
With an extraordinary origin story starting out as members of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame band “The Four Seasons,” brothers Brian Brigham and Brandon Brigham, Todd Fournier, and Landon Beard were almost predestined to become “The Modern Day Keepers of The Classics.” They were all handpicked by the legendary Frankie Valli, thrilling audiences all over the world with the music icon. After well over a decade together, Valli graciously gave his blessing for them to start their own group for a new season of harmony. This marked a significant turning point in their careers, allowing them to showcase their own talents and carve out a unique place in the music industry.
Individually, each member possesses their own distinctive voice with dynamic vocals and charismatic charm. Together, their harmonies are unparalleled, seamlessly transitioning between genres and eras that transcend time. What sets TMG apart is their ability to bridge the gap between generations by reviving feel-good hits you know and love, with a genuine camaraderie and music pedigree that features their own artistic prowess. Their electrifying show includes #1 hits from Motown, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Eagles, Queen, The Bee Gees, Billy Joel, and a special tribute to their time with Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
They've had the honor to share the stage with many of the musical heroes they celebrate, including The Beach Boys, The Manhattan Transfer, Smokey Robinson, and most recently, opening for Lionel Richie in Las Vegas, headlining at The Atlantis Resort Bahamas for New Year’s, and for Sheena Easton. They've performed for presidents of The United States and for Prince William of Wales at the esteemed Arts Club in London.
They've appeared on the world's biggest stages, including most recently at The National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, and on multiple concert tours in London, England at Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra, The O2 Arena, Hampton Court, and BBC Proms in the park for over 40,000 people. They represented their country on “A Capitol Fourth” in Washington D.C. with Michael McDonald, Patti LaBelle, John Williams, and others, as well as two limited engagements on the Broadway stage. They've toured all over the U.S., Canada, U.K., Asia, Israel, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand. As favorites of PBS audiences, they've starred on three nationwide specials and headlined in Las Vegas, as well as having their own residency in Atlantic City, NJ.
TMG has released three studio albums, including *The Modern Gentlemen: Volume 1.* Their holiday album, *You Make It Feel Like Christmas,* recorded at the iconic Village Studios in LA and distributed by The Orchard (Sony Music), features original songs written by multi-platinum, award-winning songwriters, as well as many familiar classics. Also featured is a very special collaboration with the hit-making songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman, entitled, “Old Fashioned Christmas.” Their newest album, *Happiest Days,* recreates some of their all-time favorite songs, including the original title track of the album, elevating their sound to an entirely new level.
The Modern Gentlemen feel very fortunate to have been a part of one of the biggest and most influential American bands of all time. With their perfect blend of originality and throwback nostalgia, they continue to create unforgettable live experiences, garnering multiple standing ovations in prestigious performing arts centers and showrooms all over the world.
