It’s that time of year again. That wonderful time when your friends and family look at you funny when you explain that you are spending Thanksgiving morning riding your bike on the Des Plaines River Trail.We’ll be meeting up at a Schiller Woods South park at Irving Park and the Des Plaines River Trail. It’s on the south side of the street on the east side of the river. The ride goes to the railroad track crossing just north of the city of Des Plaines and back.
It’s about 18 miles round trip and takes about 2 hours. Plan is to roll out at 9am. Most folks are home by 11:30 or 12pm.
