Work with whole wheat and specialty flours to achieve unique textures and flavors
Build high-hydration loaves with open, airy crumbs
Adjust starter ratios for stronger or more precise results
Use a thermometer to fine-tune fermentation and baking times
Understand the science and art behind creating the perfect loaf
What’s Included:
A detailed instruction packet to take home
A flavored loaf with mix-ins of your choice: parmesan, rosemary, sage, or green olives (shaped at home after practicing in class)
Hands-on practice and personalized Q&A to help fine-tune your baking skills
What to Bring:
A large mixing bowl
A Danish whisk or sturdy spoon for mixing
A clean towel to cover your loaf on the way home
Important Notes:
Completion of our Beginner Sourdough Class is highly recommended
This class will not cover how to feed a starter—it’s assumed you already have one at home (backups will be available if needed)
Each phase of the sourdough journey will be explored, but with a focus on advanced methods rather than the basics
You’ll leave this workshop with festive holiday-ready techniques, confidence in your sourdough abilities, and the knowledge to master more advanced bread creations at home.
