Light has a way of drawing us in. A single bulb can warm a room. And when many shine together, they can light the way.
This Thanksgiving, we are giving thanks for the light God has placed in each of us. Every person in the church carries the love of Jesus into their home, their work, their neighborhood. And when we come together as His church, that light becomes something beautiful and steady. It points to the cross. It tells the story of lives transformed.
On Thanksgiving Sunday, we will pause to see where that light is shining. In faithful volunteers. In quiet acts of service. In work being done across Clovis and in corners of the world we may never see in person. We will hear stories. We will give thanks. And we will worship the One who lights every heart.
“You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
