Work up your appetite for the big day by dancing the night before!!We are pleased to continue the tradition of Thanksgiving EVE dancing at the lovely Peterborough Town House, on Wednesday November 27th.
Four exceptional New England contra musicians join forces as Stove Dragon, the kindly dance-beast, breathing in notes and breathing out smoldering rhythms and flickering melodies, igniting dancers' feet and toasting listeners' ears.
Oliver Scanlon and Rose Jackson fill the room with melodic lift and tight, dynamic double-fiddle harmony, while Sam Zakon-Anderson and Helen Kuhar are a beating heart of fiery piano-guitar groove.
Steve has been calling and organizing events in this hall since 1985! Steve is appreciated by dancers for his clear yet light-hearted instruction, and dedicated and well-timed prompting, and appreciated by bands for the way he weaves the calling with the music.
