First Resource Center Thanksgiving Appeal is ON!
Tomorrow (and the next 2 Saturday's) we'll be at Walmart and Marshall's in Palestine collecting funds for food pantry food purchases @ East Texas Food Bank.
In October we had 461 families come through for help - that's 111 more families than our monthly average all year!
We just completed the first week of November and had 168 families come in, in just 4 days!
FRC is a 501c3 non-profit that has served Anderson County for over 22 years.
We will be giving out donated Ghirardelli chocolates and for a donation of $20 or more, we will give you a beautiful supporter pin!
Our goal is to raise $40,000 to help support monthly food purchases (will not be used for overhead costs).
