Delve into gratitude in the upcoming Thankful - Grateful - Blessed art workshop with local artist Poni Mosier on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 1-3PM at monca. Spend the afternoon meditating on what feeds your soul like family, health, accomplishments, and more! Using blackboard and paper leaves, create a “Thankful Tree” to visualize what you value in life. After the workshop, you can continue adding leaves to remind yourself of what to be thankful for everyday.
Poni Mosier is a prolific local artist and former owner of Grace Jr. Gifts, which operated in Downtown Chico from 1986-2016. She creates handmade cards and commemoratives which sell nationwide. Mosier studied at Chico State University and earned a BA in Art as well as a teaching credential. Recently, in 2024, she opened her own booth at the iconic 8th & Main Antiques Center.
Tickets are $35 general admission and include all materials. You may purchase tickets at the door or on the monca website.
