As the season of gratitude arrives we’re taking time to celebrate one of our biggest blessings — our alpacas! Join us this November for Thankful for Alpacas a special month-long event honoring these gentle curious animals and the natural gifts they share with us.
During Thankful for Alpacas you can feed pet and even give a friendly alpaca kiss while learning just how wonderfully God designed these animals. Their fleece is one of His remarkable creations — hypoallergenic moisture-wicking antibacterial and antimicrobial — providing warmth and comfort without harm to the animal or the earth. Every strand of fiber reminds us of His wisdom in crafting a world where everything has purpose and beauty.
Guests can enjoy free alpaca coloring sheets to write what they’re thankful for and explore our sensory fiber station to feel how amazing alpaca fiber truly is and learn about how it is used to create everyday products as well as beautiful works of art.
The farm store will be open with alpaca products seasonal goods and locally made items.
🦙 Up-close Alpaca Encounters – Feed pet and enjoy time with our friendly herd. $10 per basket of feed to feed the alpacas. One basket fills up the blue feeding bowl 5/6 times
🎨 Free Kids’ Coloring Station – Alpaca-themed coloring pages with space to write what you’re thankful for.
🧶 Sensory Fiber Experience – Feel alpaca fiber at every stage of processing from raw fleece to finished yarn — a hands-on way to connect with the natural world.
🛍️ Farm Store Open – Shop cozy alpaca goods made from the very fiber our herd provides — all locally grown right here in Greensboro NC.
First come first serve no appointment needed.
