Performance time: 2.15pm on the Ask Garden Stage at First Street
Performance Venue: Garden Stage at First Street (James Grigor Square). 2 minutes away from The Burgess Foundation.
As part of manchester jazz festival’s opening weekender, Thanda will lead a mass singing workshop at First Street. Teaching songs in Zulu and/or Xhosa, Thanda will include warm-up exercises and teach joyous South African harmonies and the signature click sounds of the southern Bantu languages.
This family-friendly event invites participants of all levels to come along and join us in song!
This activity is open to people of all ages, though we would suggest a minimum age of 8 for participating. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
