Bring a special someone, partner, family, friend, or neighbor, or work with another participant for a fully-guided Thai Bodywork exchange experience in community. Each person will have an opportunity to both give and receive a 45 minute session.
Thai bodywork is practiced clothed on the floor, is a movement meditation for the practitioner, and is a wonderful way to extend our mat to others in loving-kindness. The technique is many thousands of years old and is said to have been created by Shakyamuni Buddha’s physician.
We’ll start with a group warm-up practice. Then, after a brief introduction to the tradition, we’ll dive right into the experience. We’ll gather for some peaceful time together and everyone will have some new methods to take home to share.
Bring a yoga mat if you have one and a thick blanket or two. There will be some props available in-studio if you do not have your own!
***The workshop pass covers (1) participant visit. Partners should register separately!
This workshop will be held in-person at the Chace Mill.
