Thabo from inside Everything is Light.THABO first broke through as an artist singing with a Yorkshire hip-hop band in the late 2000s before embarking on his own solo career in 2011 with his
three piece band The Real Deal.
From 2011 to 2015, Thabo released two self-produced, independent EP’s and gigged extensively across the UK. From high profile support slots to headline shows, he soon built up a large following across the country with his unique and refreshing style of soul music.
A two year stint with a major label followed including features with Idris Elba, Naughty Boy, Professor Green, Wilkinson & TenSnake.He graduated from that educational encounter with more focus and conviction in his mission – to deliver music that educates, entertains and empowers.
Re-emerging with a heavier sound and deeper lyrics, a string of releases followed, each one a sharp and complete social statement.
The stage is where THABO really shines, delivering an audience oriented performance that is dynamic and charismatic, making it easy to understand why they call it bare knuckle soul!!!
