It’s the time that you’ve all been waiting for, the TGIF Summer Concerts are back! Come join us under the summer stars on the beautiful historic courthouse square for the FREE 2025 concerts held every Friday evening in May, June and July (except Friday, July 4th) from 6:00-10:00pm. Food and Beverage vendors will open at 6:00pm and music begins at 7:00pm. Bring your chairs and or picnic blankets and make yourselves comfortable while you let this high energy band entertain you! Our events are rain or shine.
Grandma’s Medicine is a Western NC based classic rock cover band featuring crowd favorite hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. The band was original formed in late 2017 after a marathon jam session between friends, and by the spring of 2018 began performing at private parties and local venues.
Over the years the band has encountered several line-up changes, but is still anchored by founding member Carl Lane. The current line-up consist of Lane (drums / vocals), Mike Vizcarra (guitars / keys / vocals), Jim Graziano (bass / vocals), and Tony Bailey (guitars / lead vocals).
The band continues to perform regularly throughout the area at various breweries, wineries, pubs, private parties, and civic events.
