After bursting onto the scene in the mid-1970s, T.G. Sheppard has not stopped since. In 1976, Cash Box named him Best New Male Artist, a major achievement for a self-made man in the industry. During his career, Sheppard has scored 21 No. 1 hits on the U.S. Country Charts, including 8 consecutive No. 1’s between 1980 and 1982. Sheppard decided to take a break from recording in the 1990s, and instead found a passion for touring, where he entertained audiences of all ages night after night with his high energy and exciting performances. Additionally, T.G. Sheppard, a close friend of Elvis Presley, hosts his own show on SiriusXM’s Elvis Radio, called the T.G. Sheppard show, which airs Fridays from 3-7 pm EST. Sheppard, determined to give back to his community, also works with countless charitable organizations such as Cerebral Palsy, Inc., St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Alzheimer’s Association, and many more.
