We are excited to have Lawrence Kent speaking on his adventures "Finding Cichlids and Catfish All Over Africa: 18 years and 18 countries" Door prizes, auction items and some good fish talk!The title is pretty self-explanatory. It’s a whirlwind tour across the continent and many of its lakes and rivers, where I’ve been lucky enough to catch interesting tropical fish on my free days on the margins of work-related trips. We’ll start in the east in Malawi and work our way north to Ethiopia then over to the center of Africa – Congo – before heading westward to places like Nigeria and Burkina Faso before wrapping up in Senegal. I’ll share some stories and cichlid and catfish pictures along the way. I hope you can attend. There will be prizes.
Lawrence will also speak in Montreal the evening before on "Benin There, Done That: Collecting Tropical Fish in West Africa”
