The Free Black Women's Library is a grassroots funded literary hub, social site, Black Feminist archive, and community care space that features over 5000 books by Black women and Black non-binary folks, as well as a wide range of free public programs, special events, and creative workshops, a free store, a period pantry, a backyard garden, a virtual reading club, and weekly book swap.

All are welcome to join us for a book disucssion and signing with artist, author and spiritualist Ehime Ora centering her latest release Spirits Come From Water : An Ancestral Veneration and Reclaiming African Spiritual Practices.

Artist/Author's Bio:
Ehime Ora is a Nigerian scholar, writer, artist, and priestess who has dedicated her life to facilitating ancestral connections, generational healing, and personal alignment for people who need it the most. She is the author of Ancestors Said: 365 Introspections for Emotional Healing, which she independently published in 2021 and re-published through Hay House in July 2023. On November 5th 2024, Spirits Come from Water: An Introduction to Ancestral Veneration and Reclaiming African Spiritual Practices , Ehime Ora's second book, was released into the world.
Ehime’s work makes space for joy, introspection, and spiritual well-being. Her work draws influence and inspiration from African philosophy, ancestral arts, and spiritual technology. She shares her timeless wisdom with empathy and intention, equipping others with the necessary tools to think for themselves and feel their way through healing.
