Students will create their own floral painting using heavy textured acrylic paint, piping tips and pallets knives. Whether you are a beginner or have experience with piping flowers, textured paints, or pallet knife techniques, you will enjoy this amazing medium, plus you’ll leave with beautiful, dimensional artwork.WHEN

TECHNIQUES
• Piping flowers and leaves: Learn tips on creating beautiful, piped flowers made of acrylic paint.
• Design creation: Explore mixing acrylic colors with thick acrylic medium and paint to create 3D flowers, stems and leaves.
MATERIALS
Materials are provided for in-class use.
STUDENTS
This class is ideal for those 8 and older with some previous experience. Any student under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. (The chaperoning adult does not need to purchase a ticket unless they are participating in the class.)
INSTRUCTOR
Teresa Baugh has lived in South Pittsburg for over 7 years now, previously she has lived in various parts of the country including Las Vegas. She enjoys trying her hand at various art projects and is self-taught in areas including wood working, epoxy resin, paint pouring and acrylic paints.
