Textile Landscapes with
Paint a landscape with fabrics. Using reference photos and imagination students will be guided through creating a unique landscape using scraps of fabrics, natural materials, beads, and hand embroidery stitches. Students will use different methods for adhering fabrics together, a variety of embroidery and beading stitches. We will discuss landscape design methods. We will have a relaxing time stitching together and creating small landscape wall hanging. Ideally, students know how to use a needle and thread before enrolling in this class. Please bring reference photos of landscapes. Students should bring tools (scissors, embroidery needles, thimble) if they have them. $90 all supplies included
