An exciting new design workshop suitable for beginners combining jewellery making with textiles and vintage buttons, charms and recycled jewellery pieces.Using the abundant materials, both vintage and new, supplied and collected by Sally for this workshop, you will learn how to create a unique pendant on a felt base and add items for decoration, with stitch and or glue. Colours, layout and construction will be given careful design consideration.
Sally will also teach you how to use head pins for bead hanging and basic plier work for jewellery making. You can also choose to make earrings or a brooch to go with your pendant, depending on time.
Lots of exciting materials will be available to choose from but if you have anything special to use from home such as old buttons, trim or vintage fabrics please bring them too. If you have a basic sewing kit please bring it.
Refreshments will be available in the studio.
