Textile Arts Camp
Come join us for a fun-filled week of creativity at Textile Arts Camp! For girls 8-13, this in-person event at Project 658 is the perfect place to learn and grow your skills in textile arts. From sewing to batik fabric design, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We'll be first creating our own fabric, then sewing a custom zipper pouch from it.
We'll also make a Manta Ray stuffie and a custom lunch bag. Throughout the class, students will be learning about fashion and textiles in Afghanistan, Syria, Myanmar & the DRC, the home countries of our refugee students .
Your donation of $250 covers the costs of all supplies AND helps us offer vocational training classes to refugee women in Charlotte. To confirm registration, we'll send you a link for the donation page and payment must be made within 5 business days, or your registration will be cancelled.
We ARE a Christian ministry and will be sharing Scripture throughout the week about creativity and loving others like Jesus calls us to.
