Come enjoy some good food and support your local community. On November 19th from 3:30-10pm Texas Roadhouse will be donating a portion of their sales to The New Start Nook Program.The New Start Nook, located at 818 University Avenue, is a closet of new household items provided to individuals and families exiting homelessness. People often move into an empty apartment that does not feel like a home. As service providers, we want to streamline the process of providing essential household items to promote stability and happiness in their new homes the day they move in. With your support and other fundraising activities during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week we can continue to support the New Start Nook.
