The album's lead single, "Hook Me Up", explores the feeling of reaching a life-changing crossroads. The band describes it as a raw and personal reflection: “You aren't ready to make real change until you are. It's a conversation between me and me. It's an admission of weakness, of the fact that it's okay to ask for help. In life, we all need to find a good, clean energy source to sustain us through the good and bad times.
