About this Event
Join the Texas Exes Katy Chapter for an unforgettable evening celebrating Longhorn spirit, community, and connection at our 2026 Scholarship Dinner, held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at The Club at Falcon Point.
Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, plated dinner, silent auction, and a thoughtfully curated program designed to bring together alumni, supporters, and friends of the University of Texas. This annual event is a cornerstone gathering for our chapter and supports the mission and ongoing work of the Texas Exes Katy Chapter.
The evening will be highlighted by remarks and a live Q&A with Julia Morales Clark, an Emmy Award–winning sports broadcaster, proud Texan, and University of Texas alumna. With more than a decade covering the Houston Astros and Rockets, Julia brings behind-the-scenes stories from the world of professional sports, reflections on her journey from UT to the national stage, and insights on leadership, authenticity, and finding your voice.
A native of Crandall, Texas, Julia is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her degree in broadcast journalism and was a member of Texas Pom during the Longhorns’ 2005 National Championship season. She is also the founder of Shop Baseball, Y’all, a fan-favorite apparel brand that blends sports culture, Texas pride, and personal style.
Whether you’re attending to support the chapter, reconnect with fellow Longhorns, or enjoy an inspiring evening with a dynamic speaker, this is a night you won’t want to miss.
