Gamblers, welcome to Texas Carnado 6: Because We Didn’t Learn the First Five Times!It’s that special time of year again — when reason, logic, and mechanical sympathy all take a back seat to chaos, camaraderie, and Carnado. Hosted once again by Lonestar Gambler 500, this event is open to every kind of misfit, mechanic, and maniac from across the country.
Whether you’re from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas, Oregon, Washington, California, NYC (New York City??? Get a...), or anywhere else, you’re welcome here. Got a Gambler rig? Perfect. Don’t have one? Bring your rental, daily driver, family sedan, work truck, or whatever rolls under its own questionable power. The only two real rules still stand:
1. Don’t be a dick.
2. Have fun.
We’ll be returning to Dall’s Biker Camp — our spiritual home for bad decisions and good stories. There’s room for about 50 vehicles in main camp, on a first come, first serve basis, with overflow in the back 40. Camp fees are $25/night for a car and driver, and $10 for passengers (includes breakfast and dinner).
Be ready for the full Gambler experience: trash cleanup runs, trails, fireside stories, karaoke, and the occasional questionable repair involving JB Weld, duct tape, and moonshine. Bring your tow straps, whiskey, fur coats, and shenanigans, because this is not the weekend for minimalism.
This year’s theme — “Because We Didn’t Learn the First Five Times” — celebrates our proud tradition of ignoring common sense and sending it anyway. Bring your wildest rigs, your loudest liveries, your sketchiest trailers, and your biggest ideas. The more ridiculous, the better.
As always, points don’t matter… except when they do.
Extra points for creativity.
Bonus points for helping clean up.
Infinite points for surviving until Sunday.
