*Texas Bait-N-Tackle Bonus: $1000.00 FOR THE LARGEST SHARK OVER 12’
*RULES: Limited to 100 participants registered in tournament to fish. *RULES: All fish to be caught on the Texas Gulf Coast Beaches *RULES: (NO OFFSHORE, PIERS OR JETTIES). *Boundaries: From High Island to Boca Chica *BAIT DEPLOYMENT:
*Any means of bait deployment allowed if it meets all
Federal and State Laws.
*All bait deployment must be done by a registered
member in the tournament.
PHOTO/CAMERA:
*Legible photos are required of all fish being
measured
*Your camera must have the correct time and date
set on camera
*All cameras must have a 5-megapixel minimum
with flash
*CELL PHONES AND GO PROS ARE NOT ALLOWED
*Failure to supply photos will result in
disqualification
*Multiple photos required
*Photos must have item of the day in all photos,
and must have photos with tape measurement in
each photo with a photo of fork and
total length/shark
*Must have a full photo of fish, angler, and item of
the day
SHARKS: *All sharks must be caught on rod and reel, hook and line by a registered member.
*Shark landing must be done by registered members only
FEE/PAY OUT: ENTRY
*SHARK DIVISION: $150.00
Awards will be given to the top three longest sharks caught and
released.
Participants in the shark division may only be assisted with bait
deployment and landing of the shark by a registered team.

Times:
*August 9th, 2024, at 5:00am with fishing to start at 6am.
*All members MUST sign in before leaving
*ALL CONTESTANTS must be signed-in at the Awards Ceremony no later
than 2:00 pm August 11th, 2024, at the Briscoe King Pavilion by Bob Hall Pier.
Other Rules:
*No protests will be allowed during the awards. You have 10
minutes after the awards to protest.
*Tournament. The decision of the Judges, in their sole discretion,
shall be
final on any matter.
*Orange survey tape MUST be displayed on each antenna or visible
on the vehicles of every person in the tournament.
Entry Fee: Cash only
LIABILITY RELEASE: All contestants are required to sign and return a liability release & rules acceptance form prior to
participating in the event. Minors must have a parent or approved guarding sign allowing them to
participate in the event.
VALID ID AND FISHING LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Contestants must present a legal photo ID proving identification. Minors that are not required to have a state
issued ID are exempt. Contestants must present a current TPWD fishing license. Only minors that are not
required by TPWD to have a fishing license are exempt.
Refunds:
All entry fees are non-refundable, and it’s the responsibility of the contestant to read and understand the
Rules.
