About this Event
TAA's Annual Meeting will bring together a broad group of stakeholders including farmers, researchers, feed and equipment suppliers, lenders, lake/pond management, government officials and students as well as representatives from allied industries such as aquaria and aquaponics and more to learn about new research, technologies and opportunities and build new relationships. Speakers will build on the outcomes from the 2024 Annual Meeting which explored overcoming barriers to expanding aquaculture and identify next steps to enhance the future of aquaculture in Texas.
To support TAA's student scholarship program, a special shooting tournament will be offered for a separate fee at a private range before the President's reception on Monday, January 27th. After the meeting's educational sessions, on the afternoon of January 29th, tours of the Palacios Marine Agricultural Research hatchery and farms owned by Homegrown Seafood will be offered as part of the meeting registration.
We encourage everyone with an interest in supporting Texas aquaculture to register online today! For information about sponsorship opportunities, send an email to [email protected] or call Executive Director Kay Johnson Smith at (703)346-2953.
