Just a quick heads up. The next Lichfield monthly meet will be quite a special one. Mr Tex Huxley will be receiving a well earned long membership award from ASLEF. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s for 70 years! ASLEF reps from Saltley Branch will be in attendance. For everyone who knows, or has worked with Tex then please attend if you can. Let’s try and make it a very special occasion for someone who is an absolute gentleman. Glad that I have had the pleasure of working with him.
