In this Citizen Advocacy Workshop, you will gain the skills needed to be an effective advocate and maximize your impact when providing public testimony at bill hearings in the Colorado General Assembly.
We will cover:
- A review of the current legislative situation in Colorado, including updates on Senate Bill 24-158
- How to be an effective citizen advocate
- Best practices for online advocacy
- How to participate in the legislative process by submitting testimony at a bill hearing

Testify in person at the Colorado Capitol building in Denver (200 Colfax). You can also testify via Zoom or by submitting written testimony.
Senate Bill 24-158 is scheduled for a hearing in the House Education Committee on 05/01/2024 Upon Adjournment (approximately 10:00 am) in Room HCR 0107.
