About this workshop: Are you trying to improve your Dutch? Looking for a fun community to help you adapt to the Dutch language and culture? Whether you’re a beginner or have reached intermediate level, join the Going Dutch Community’s workshop and participate in their fun “Speed Dutching” exercise!
In this engaging workshop, based on the concept of “Speed Dating”, hosts Jelle Moers and Carmen Kleinherenbrink will guide participants through a few rounds of “Speed Dutching”. Participants will test their Dutch conversation skills, learn tips on how to speak like a real Dutchie, and meet fellow expats and Dutch language learners along the way. Get a taste of what the Going Dutch Community has to offer and discover a new community-based way to improve your Dutch!
The Going Dutch Community offers online lessons, weekly classes, personalised coaching, Q&A sessions, and “gezellige” in-person activities. Founded by Jelle Moers, Going Dutch Community is a community of Dutchies and Dutchies-in-the-making that focuses on absorbing the Dutch language in a fun and effective way, with native speakers to practise with.
Important note: Workshop seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You need to arrive at the workshop space 15 minutes early to ensure you get a seat.
