The F1 2026 field heads to the Bahrain International Circuit for the first of two crucial, OFFICIAL, and PUBLIC pre-season tests.
TEST 2: FEBRUARY 11–13, 2026
This three-day session marks the first time media and fans will get an unrestricted view of the new cars, new engines, and the active aerodynamic concepts. After the initial shakedown in Spain, teams will be pushing the new regulations to their limits, focusing on crucial areas:
Reliability: Testing the complex 50/50 hybrid power units under race conditions.
Balance: Fine-tuning the interaction between the new front and rear active wings.
Pirelli Data: Collecting extensive data on the 2026 tire compounds in high-temperature conditions.
