About this Event
The Program on Extremism at The George Washington University and The Bridgeway Foundation will host a high-level, half-day conference in June to explore the current threat of the Islamic State in Africa. This collaborative event will bring together leading security and peacebuilding practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and reporters from Africa, the United States, and around the world. The symposium will include two keynote addresses, two panels that will explore the latest threat trends, and will be followed by an invitation-only reception on the top floor of the Elliott School.
