Join us this Halloween season as we take a Killer classic and bring you a terror filled day on the trails of Cane Creek Park. This park offers amazing trails with something for everyone, so bring the whole group.This is a great event for all trail experience levels. From 4 miles to 50k, whether you want to run your first ultra, set a new PR, or just grab a few miles in the woods, this is the perfect event for you!
Do you enjoy getting into the Halloween spirit? Dress up in costume to run the trails and we will reward our favorite ones with a treat they will surely die for!
Course Information
4 MILER:
This is your introductory loop for those wanting to try out trails for the first time or get in a quick 4 mile run. This has a good combination of smooth and fast with enough technical thrown in to make it interesting. Runners will complete 1, 4 mile loop and will pass 1 aid station along the way-
There is a 4hr cutoff time for 4 mile runners.
8 MILER:
This route will still contain a good amount of fast and smooth trails while adding in a bit more technical and more vert. Runners will complete 1 lap on an 8 mile loop and pass 1 aid station along the way. There is an 8hr cutoff time for 8 Mile runners
25K:
This is the full tour of what Cane Creek has to offer. This route includes the fast and the technical! Rocks and roots, creek crossings and all the vertical we can utilize. Runners will complete 1 lap on a 15.5 mile loop, and pass 3 aid stations. There will be an 8hr cutoff for 25k.
50K:
All 50k runners will complete 2 laps on the 25k loop. You will get to experience the best route... twice! Runners will pass through the Start/finish line to begin their second lap. Overall, you will pass 6 aid stations, plus the start/finish area. There is a 10hr cutoff for the 50K-
All 50k runners must begin their 2nd lap by 12:30pm to be allowed to continue on.
Awards
Top 3 overall male and Top 3 overall Female in each distance will receive top honors awards.

Additional Information
All registered participants will receive race T-shirt and medal, along with Apex Promoz reusable soft cup for hydration
Aid Stations:
All aid stations will be stocked with the essentials: (water, Gatorade, snacks, etc.) However, we strongly suggest wearing a hydration vest for any runner on the course for 90 minutes or longer.
This is a cupless race, so plan accordingly.
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be held on Friday evening Oct. 31st at Fleet Feet in Wavery from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Weather:
Updated weather for race day looks beautiful for all running distances. 60-72 degrees and sunny during race hours... However, 50k runners it will start to get hot, and could hit the 80's depending on your overall time on the course, so plan accordingly.
