From the bowels of Victoria's underground, four spirit-bound rats were exposed to the city's sewage ooze runoff. Adopted by a turtle dad they grew up into four man-rats, playing gentle pop punk in the sewers and eating their favourite meal, lasagna. But the sewer demons learned of their abilities and possessed the tallest manrat, inspiring him to create heinous time signatures and terrible key shifts. The lesser rats named him Peter, the most demented of all, and together, they were Terriblething.

We’re a queer pop-rock-punk band based in Victoria, B.C., made up of Lauren Odds on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Ariel Tseng (of Fortune Killers and Isobel Trigger) on drums, Sienna Waibel on lead guitar and Robin Melville on bass. Our music blends the energetic guitar styles of Paramore and MCR with the vulnerable lyric style of Olivia Rodrigo. Rooted in our personal and collective experiences, our songs explore identity, vulnerability, the pressure to fit in — and what it means to push back.
