Join us for a fun and interactive terrarium-making experience at The Garden Room. Learn how to create your own mini garden in a glass container with the guidance of our expert instructor. This event is perfect for plant lovers of all skill levels!
During the workshop, you'll learn the history and science behind these fascinating creations and we'll show you the necessary techniques needed to build your own and teach you how to look after your terrarium when you get it home so you can enjoy it for years to come.
All materials will be provided, including a glass terrarium bottle (20cm tall), a selection of suitable plants to choose from, the tools and compost, etc so just bring yourself and your creativity!
Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or a newcomer to the world of terrariums, this workshop is suitable for abilities. It's a great activity for a day out with a difference, a birthday treat, hen party or just a gathering of family or friends.
The workshop takes place in the studio above our shop, a relaxed and informal setting surrounded by botanical inspiration. We are situated in the heart of Shrewsbury, easy to get to, close to many interesting independent shops, restaurants and cafes. So come and make a day (or a night) of it!
Please note that our studio is upstairs and unfortunately, only accessed by a staircase.
