About this Event

Saturday, July 24, 2021

9:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Instructor: Pinky Ormand

You don’t have room for a garden or greenhouse, or you’ve always wanted to make your own terrarium, but didn’t know where to start? In either case, this is the class for you. Terrariums require very little care—just an occasional spritz of water and access to a little sunlight. Pinky will give you step by step instructions on how to design, make and care for your very own mini garden. All supplies are included, and you will go home with your own “little green world”.

Pinky Ormand is a horticulturist at Harry P. Leu Gardens and maintains the Idea Garden, White Garden, Butterfly Garden and the Camellia Collection. Pinky attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a B.A. in Art and has also earned a Landscape & Horticulture Technology degree from Valencia College.

Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.

Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
