Together with Slow Food, Visit Sacramento is excited to host the first American iteration of one of the world's largest food conferences, Terra Madre Americas, May 17-19, 2024 at Memorial Auditorium.The inaugural Terra Madre Americas event will allow for a dialog between different worlds by gathering food producers, scientists, cooks, and researchers from all over the world in Sacramento for education, participation, connection, and discussion. This event will explore how food is interrelated with most aspects of our lives and environment, with specific hints at the climate crisis, social justice, education in the food and beverage system.
The event is free to the public and will include educational and interactive experiences for all ages, as well as ticketed experiences.
