Gentle movement with breath to reduce stress and anxiety and improve strength, flexibility and vitality.Classes begin with a breath connection practice (Pranayama) to calm the mind and ease tension. To support this practise Jo has created an extensive guidebook so students can understand more about the practises we use, without too much talking and repetition during the breathing experience. Often, as little as 3 deep breaths can change how you're feeling. And the benefits deepen with familiarity. We hope once our students embody the practice they can share it with those they care about.
Jo Bliss is an experiences yoga, breathwork and meditation teacher who uses postures suitable for beginners and more advanced students. She shares insights about the practises that includes Eastern Philosophy, Glands, Nadis/Meridians and Chakras as well as Western perspectives.
