💃Beginners Bellydance with Myf
6-7pm Thursday @ Grouse Studio, 3/62 Aralia St. Nightcliff
8 weeks: 10 October - 28 November
Bellydance for Beginners is just that! No experience necessary but a willingness to shake your jiggly bits, get in touch with your inner camel and let your snake arms be free, is!
Dancers are encouraged to do 2 to 4 terms of Beginners classes to master the basics before moving to Intermediate classes.
Join Director of Darwin Bellydance, Myf, for an hour of fun where you will learn the fundamentals of Oriental dance aka belly dance, a short choreography to take home for loungeroom performances and a chance to shimmy up a storm with like minded individuals! Be quick as spaces fill up fast!
Please bring a bottle of water & wear comfy exercise clothing, no shoes required.

💃Beginners Bellydance/Tribal Fusion with Sharon
10-11am Saturdays @ Room 1, Palmerston Recreation Centre (PRC)
8 weeks: 12 October - 30 November
This class welcomes new members with no dance experience as well as dancers who are continuing on in their dance journey.
All that is required is a desire to have fun and improve your fitness.
Sharon, an experienced and friendly teacher, will guide you in both belly dance and tribal fusion techniques – this will give a you a great springboard into either genres of dance in the future.
This class is a great place to shake your booty and get rid of the week’s stress.
Please bring a bottle of water & wear comfy exercise clothing, no shoes required.

💃💃Intermediate 1 Bellydance with Myf
7:15-8:15pm Thursdays @ Grouse Studio, 3/62 Aralia St. Nightcliff
8 weeks: 10 October - 28 November
A class for dancers who feel ready to progress to more complex or layered bellydance moves & combinations. Gain greater muscle control, increase your coordination, knowledge of bellydance, fitness and flexibility - all while having fun grooving to fabulous music!
**Minimum requirements to join this class is 2 terms of Bellydance beginners or as advised by your Beginners class teacher - be sure to ask if you are ready or let them know you’d like to try the class.
💃💃Intermediate to Advanced Bellydance with Myf
7:30-8:30pm Monday @ Darwin Bellydance Studio, Leanyer
8 weeks: 7 October- 25 November
Join Myf for more challenging Intermediate to Advanced level drills, techniques & sequences – You will increase your fitness, expand your knowledge, nurture & release your inner dancer and foster your confidence as a bellydancer. We use a variety of props in this level of class.
**Minimum requirements to join this class is 2 terms of Intermediate Level 1 class or as advised by your current class teacher - be sure to approach them to ask if you are ready.
💃💃Intermediate Tribal Fusion Bellydance in Palmerston
6:30-7:30pm Thursday @ Agoy Yoga Palmerston, 22 Georgina Crest, Yarrawonga*
8 Weeks: 10 October - 28 November
A new class, led by Sharon, our Tribal Fusion teacher, for dancers who feel ready to progress to more complex or layered bellydance moves & combinations. Gain greater muscle control, increase your coordination, fitness and flexibility - all while having fun grooving to fabulous music!
**Minimum requirements to join this class is 2 terms of Bellydance beginners or as advised by your Beginners class teacher - be sure to approach them to ask if you are ready.
Parking for this class is on the street. Access to the studio is via the pedestrian gate at the front of the studio.
The studio is tiled, if liked, socks may help in giving you a bit of extra slip (or upgrade to FootUndeez/ foot mittens - available from Dance World in Winnellie).
💃💃💃Tribal Fusion Bellydance with Sharon (Troupe class)
6-7:30pm Tuesday @ Darwin Bellydance Studio, Leanyer
8 Weeks: 8 October - 26 November
Term 4 brings new adventures for our tribal journey and the way this group has been re-defining themselves in dance and costuming. So much fun!!
I am excited that many have joined me on this journey and been brave to try new styles so this term we will venture into the world of props – sword, basket, lanterns etc. Don’t panic, you don’t have to have the props to join this class just the courage!
This is also the class where you will develop performance techniques.
To join this class Dancers need to be at an intermediate level of bellydance. Please contact Sharon or Myf to discuss.
💃💃💃Advanced Troupe with Myf
6-7:30pm Wednesdays @ Darwin Bellydance Studio, Leanyer
8 Weeks: 9 October - 27 November
Advanced level techniques, props, drills, performance skills and Troupe development. This class will be consolidating their skills and honing known choreographies as well as preparing for upcoming performances.
Some terms require participants to research aspects of Bellydance and present to the class as theoretical knowledge of Bellydance is important at this level of dancing.
Class will be available via Zoom if you are unable to attend in person. You must have attended class in person sometime prior so you are familiar with the running order.

In event of cancellation of class due to your teacher being unable to attend and a substitute teacher not available, we will refund or credit missed classes.

Your payment secures your place in class for the term, including access to the facebook groups where class content is posted to support your learning, regardless if you attend class or not.
Your teacher plans each week expecting you to attend. If you fail to attend a class your teacher then needs to catch you up and keep everyone else progressing which increases their work load considerably.
