Term 1: Afternoon Art Club for Kids (6-12 years)

Join us at Art Club in Term 4! Here young people can enjoy experimentation and explore how to create artworks by themselves and in collaboration with others.

Each week, students explore a new artwork in the gallery then complete a fun making activity led by our gallery educators. In term 4 we will explore drawing, painting, sculpture and collaborative art making and take inspiration from our gallery exhibition Hawkesbury Now.

Over the 8 week term, students will gain confidence in understanding artworks and skills to explore their creativity in a friendly, art making environment.

All skill levels are welcome. All materials are supplied, and kids may take their work home!

Please note, children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

$50 Service NSW Active and Creative Kids Vouchers accepted.

Terms and conditions:

• An adult must accompany all children under 10 years during the workshop.

• Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.

• SMILE! Gallery events may be photographed, and these images are used for promotional purposes on the Council's websites, publications, social media, and/or newspapers. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.

• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the program.

• Paid tickets are not transferable.

Cancellation/refund policy:

• To receive a full refund (minus an admin fee of 10% of session cost), please cancel your ticket or notify the gallery 48 hours before the scheduled event. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.

• Refunds will not be given if participants change their mind, or simply forget to attend the event. For exceptional circumstances, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Gallery Director.

• A refund can take up to 7 working days to process after the event date (due to bank transfer times). Cash payment refunds can take up to 6 weeks to process.
