She's not only a female distiller in a male-dominated industry, but she's a leading agave spirits educator, having literally written the book on sensorial education around tequila. As one of the first Official Catadores (professional tasters) of tequila, she is author of "The Aromas of Tequila: The Art of Tasting." She developed a tasting wheel with 600 aromas mapped out for identifying what's in your glass. A tasting with Ana Maria is one of the most eye-opening tequila experiences, and you don't want to miss it.
As the Master Distiller of , taste through their Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo. Learn about actual agave flavors, the importance of selecting the right barrels, and a few of her tricks that make Tequila Corrido, simply, better.
To keep things intimate, there are two sessions of 8 guests each (6pm and 7pm). Purchase a bottle and have her sign it!
