Welcome to our 4-day tour to Tenterfield Oracles of the Bush Festival. A festival celebrating bush poetry, literature, and music. This morning, after loading the coach, we will be ready to go. Travelling into the New England Ranges stopping to purchase lunch at the pretty town of Uralla. Home to many historic buildings and residences, it is also where bushranger Captain Thunderbolt was buried in 1870 after being killed at Kentucky Creek, just outside the picturesque town. We continue north to Stanthorpe where we can settle into our motel for dinner.

Day 02 (BD) TENTERFIELD ORACLES OF THE BUSH Friday 05 April 2024
Following breakfast, we head to Tenterfield to celebrate everything about Bush Poetry. We have the whole day here to be a part of the festival. We will arrange a meeting point at the days end for our return trip to Stanthorpe.

Day 03 (BLD) STANTHORPE Saturday 06 April 2024
We explore the Truffle Discovery Centre, home to the rare and highly valuable Fresh Perigord Truffle. Unearth all that is truffle with a tour and gourmet food tastings. Next, we visit the Granite Belt Christmas Farm. Renowned for bringing the ‘Christmas Spirit’ alive all year round, we are welcome by our wonderful host and given a short talk explaining how the farm works and the uniqueness of this magical industry. Mrs Claus may even have some of her festive treats on hand for us to sample. For lunch we travel to Granite Belt Brewery and Retreat. Set on 30 acres of natural bushland, the country estate boasts a rustic atmosphere with delicious food and handcrafted beers. We then visit the Washpool Farm Soaperie. Here we see artisans handcrafting luxurious raw material into gorgeous natural products for healthy skin and home. Before we head back to the hotel we visit Stanthorpe Cheese where a selection of cheeses, at their peak of perfection are awaiting us.

Day 04 (BL) STANTHORPE TO HOME Sunday 07 April 2024
With so many great experiences enjoyed by all, it’s now time to head for home. We travel via the coastal road today stopping along the way for convenience breaks and lunch in Grafton’s District Services Club. This afternoon we continue south down the coast travelling through Kempsey to home. We arrive with many wonderful memories travelling with friends.
