Meet-Up itinerary:
There is no set itinerary planned. Naturally people may want to participate in certain local activities together, but only participate if you feel comfortable doing them. The Takeover organiser(s) are ultimately responsible for the meet-up, but you are also responsible for yourself and those in your group at all times.
On the final evening, join a group chill out by the fire to regale the tales of the winter and discuss
the plans for the season ahead.

Campsite rules (please check if there have been any changes when you arrive at the site):
In order to ensure the TentBox Community maintains its great reputation, and everybody stays safe, it’s important that we follow the campsite rules at all times.
Please read the full list of campsite rules below:
* In the event of disruptive or anti-social behaviour – you will be asked to leave the site immediately. No refund will be due.
* Dogs must be kept under close control at all times and on a lead in the communal areas.
* Quiet times are between 10pm and 8am. This isn’t the campsite for wild all-night parties!
* BBQ and firepits are allowed but these must be sufficiently off the ground so as to not scorch the grass and safety rules must be adhered to.
***
Facilities & food:
* Modern heated shower block
* Disabled/family shower room including baby changing and bath
* Washing-up area
* Chemical waste disposal
* Water sourced from a bore hole so is completely natural and delicious!
* Laundry facilities on site
* Onsite shop sells essentials, snacks and drinks
* Our new Café sells breakfast baps, baguettes, pizza, burgers, chips, Barista style coffee and cakes
* Small play area which we plan to build on over time but we are just a 5 minute walk from our local park with play equipment for all age ranges and recently added all-inclusive play
* Dog Friendly site – there are local walks in the woods and a park, 2 minutes walk away to exercise your dog.
* Firepits to hire and wood to buy onsite
* Dishwasher (New to 2022)

Safeguarding & other important points to understand:
- Responsibility for running and organising the Meet-Up is solely with the organiser(s) named above.
- TentBox is not involved in the organisation or running of the event.
- Meet-Ups are run by volunteers on a not for profit basis.
- TentBox is keen to support its community to enjoy meet-ups safely and expects TentBox organisers and participants to abide by:
- The TentBox Meet-ups Guidance
- The TentBox Safeguarding and Dispute Resolution Guidance.
- Each participant (including the organisers) is responsible for themselves and for others in their group. Each individual is responsible for making their own bookings directly with the campsite and for their behaviour when joining the Meet-Up, so do respect the rules and always act with safety in mind. Do not get involved in any activities which you feel uncomfortable with or feel incapable of doing.
- All event organisers are volunteers and they are permitted to run Meet-Ups provided that the events are run in line with the Guidance listed above and also in accordance with the TentBox Meet-Up Ts&Cs.
- Our hope is that our community enjoys these events safely. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to the event organiser. If you are not satisfied with the outcome or if you feel it is not appropriate to raise your concern with this person or if you cannot contact them, please reach out to our team at [email protected].
- If we are made aware of any complaints which might relate to criminal activity or if we think there is a risk to someone’s safety we will contact the appropriate authorities.
- The continued success of the Meet-Ups relies on all organisers and participants working positively together. We reserve the right to take swift and appropriate action (for example, banning organisers from planning further Meet-Ups) if we have concerns.
- The event organiser(s) (not TentBox) are your point of contact before and during the event.
- Event organisers do this voluntarily, so please always treat them with the respect they deserve. If you would like to run your own TentBox Meet-Up, view our guide here: https://bit.ly/TentBox-Meet-Ups
