***The Event***Join Dragon Defense Firearms School for a Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class on Saturday, June 27, 2026, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, starting at the Holston Business Development Center Training Classroom (2005 Venture Park, Kingsport, TN).
***Class Registration***
Class size is limited and online registration is required by end of day Thursday, June 25, 2026 at dragon-defense.com/tri-cities-tn-classroom.
The cost is $75 per student, for Tennessee residents, 18 years of age and older. Students should have some handgun experience, prior to the day of class.
(Special Note: Virginia residents, 21 and older, may take this course and submit their certificate as documentation of proof of handgun competency, with their Virginia application for concealed handgun permit form).
***Class Details***
This State-designed course provides a greater emphasis on Tennessee laws, has a range qualification, provides you with more carry options in our State, and offers you greater reciprocity in 37 other states, for those that travel for work or leisure.
This Eight-Hour, Instructor-Facilitated Presentation and State-Designed Curriculum Covers:
- Firearm Safety
- Marksmanship
- Care, Cleaning & Loading
- State & Federal Laws
- Weapons Handling (Includes Range Time/Qualification)
***Class Amenities***
Enjoy a comfortable and professional classroom setting, complimentary bottled water, breakfast pastries and snacks from Dragon Defense LLC and access to vending machines and complimentary coffee and tea from the Holston Business Development Center.
***Special Notes***
Handguns and ammunition will not be allowed in the classroom portion of the course at the Holston Business Development Center Training Classroom.
