Monday’s coming up, which means it’s time for Tennent’s Laughter Lounge, a totally free weekly night of stand-up comedy featuring some of the best up-and-coming talent Scotland has to offer, plus some pros trying out new material. The bar has also got some great drinks deals to take advantage of!Your host for the evening will be Jack Traynor, the Cumbernauld powerhouse of punchlines. Jack epitomises the voice of young Scots and tells stories that are somehow both bizarre and relatable. Jack was personally invited to open for star of Netflix Daniel Sloss, and was named Most Valued Player worldwide by Roast Battle. Jack was also named as the winning recipient of a bursary to fund his 2025 Edinburgh Fringe solo show.

Interested in performing? Sign-up for each show opens from Tuesday the week before, message our FB page and 5 minute slots will be allocated on a mainly first come, first serve basis. Attempts to sign-up at the wrong time or via the wrong channels will be ignored.
Doors to the bar open at 5pm, doors to the comedy room downstairs open at 7pm.
