Curious about federal jobs but not sure where to begin? This is the perfect place to start. In this class, you’ll learn how the federal hiring process really works, how to read and understand federal job announcements, and what goes into a strong, competitive federal résumé. We’ll walk through the Ten Steps to a Federal Job method to help you build a clear strategy and confidently pursue the federal role that’s the best fit for you.
Learning Level: Introduction / basic
What to Bring: A laptop or tablet (to connect to free Wi-Fi), plus a notebook and something to write with.
NOTE: This is open to DoD Military ID card holders, including military spouses and service members who are Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, Guard, or Gold Star. Eligibility will be verified.
