About this Event
Temple Terrace Leisure Services, the Temple Terrace Police Department, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and BPAC are coming together to host a Bicycle Rodeo on Thursday, December 11, from 3:30–6 PM at the Family Recreation Complex Multipurpose Court.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to teach children the basics of bicycle and pedestrian safety through fun, hands-on activities and interactive skill stations. Participants will learn from trained staff and officers while building confidence on their bikes.
Every child who attends will receive a free, properly fitted bicycle helmet. There is no registration required for this event—it is first come, first served.
The Bicycle Rodeo is geared toward children in the City’s After-School Program and the general public ages 4–12, though children outside this age range are welcome to participate as well.
This event offers young riders a great opportunity to develop safe riding habits and enjoy an afternoon of learning and activity with the community.
