2022 is the quincentenary' of the building of Temple Newsam by Thomas, Lord Darcy, and also the centenary of its sale to Leeds Corporation by Lord Halifax.
Join James Lomax, Curator Emeritus for a tour of the house concentrating on its links with the city over five centuries, not least over the past 100 years as the house reinvented itself as a public museum.

Please meet outside Temple Newsam House in the Courtyard.
Refreshments:
Please be aware that the Stables tearoom will close at 16:00 if you would like refreshments please head to the tea room prior to the tour.
Parking:
Parking is available at the side of the house for £4.50 alternatively you can park at one of the free car parks near the children’s play area.
Accessibility:
